Notices in the London Gazette pursuant to Section 41 of the Marriage Act 1949, as amended by section 1(1) of the Marriage Acts Amendment Act 1958 and in the Belfast Gazette pursuant to Marriages (Ireland) Act 1844, Section 28 announcing registration for solemnising marriages of buildings certified for worship.

Marriage Act notices are placed by local authority registrars of marriage.
