Planning Application Likely To Have Significant Environmental Effects On Northern Ireland

The Department has received the following planning application from the Republic of Ireland, accompanied by an Environmental Statement, for development which is likely to have significant effects on the environment in Northern Ireland.

Application No: 10/20185

Location: Townlands of Lough Cuill, Meenadreen and Croaghnameal, Co. Donegal

Proposal: Development comprising of 12 no. electricty generating wind turbines with a hub height of up to 70 metres and a rotor diameter of up to 84 metres giving an overall height of up to 112m, hardstandings, an electrical compound and substation building, associated site roads and site works. It is proposed to source all stone from two on site borrow pit areas.

The application and associated environmental statement may be examined at the following locations:(1) Divisional Planning Office, County Hall, Drumragh Avenue, Omagh.
